Production Operative – Bolton (BL6)
Pay: £12.21 per hour (basic)
Overtime: £18.32 per hour
Hours: 7:00am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
Pay increase after 12 weeks of service
Overview
We are recruiting Production Operatives for a well‑established manufacturing business in Bolton. This role involves operating machinery, supporting warehouse operations and ensuring high product quality through strict production processes.
Key Responsibilities
Production
Operate production machinery and equipment.
Follow product specifications, work cards and production plans.
Maintain excellent product quality.
Keep accurate production and material records.
Warehouse
Assist with loading and unloading raw materials and finished goods.
Move pallets of stock and finished goods using pallet trucks.
Quality & Technical
Report any technical or production issues to the Team Leader.
Carry out product testing accurately and consistently.
Ensure products meet all required specifications.
Health & Safety
Maintain high housekeeping and hygiene standards.
Identify and report hazards immediately.
Follow all safe systems of work.
Support health and safety initiatives, including inspections and risk assessments.
Other Duties
Participate in annual stock takes.
Attend meetings where required.
Support project work and represent the company during customer or supplier visits.

Ability to work in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment.
Flexible and reliable attitude to work.
Strong communication skills.
Good attention to detail.
Physically capable of meeting the demands of the role.
Ability to read and write to an acceptable standard.
