As a dedicated and qualified First Aid Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the school's medical and first aid provision.
Provision of medical/first aid care to students and staff.
Replenishment and storage of medical supplies.
Maintenance of accurate medical records.
Coordination of first aid packs for school trips and provision of advice to staff members.
Operation of a medical records system and management of student health records.
Liaison with the School Health Nurse for immunization programs and referral of students with special medical needs.
Distribution of health education resources and information to staff and students.
Maintenance of medical room notice board.
Dissemination of health information to staff and students.
Enhanced DBS Certificate.
Experience working with young people.
Suitability for working with young people.
Establishment and maintenance of appropriate relationships with young people.
Willingness to attend required training sessions.
This position is offered on a maternity cover basis for an anticipated initial period of 10 months. The successful candidate will undergo child protection vetting and relevant employment checks.
