About the role
You will work in a Boots store and report to the Assistant or Store Manager. This is a temporary Christmas seasonal role with potential for a permanent role later depending on local opportunities.
What you’ll do
* Customer Interaction: Offer thoughtful advice, recommend products and highlight offers to ensure customers have an enjoyable shopping experience.
* Till Operation: Wrap purchases at the counter or support self-checkout, bringing energy and efficiency to every transaction.
* Stock Management: Keep shelves full so customers can find what they need during the busiest season.
* Store Presentation: Ensure the store looks its best at all times.
* Online order support: May assist with deliveries, picking and packing for online orders as needed.
What you’ll need to have
Full training is provided. Essential skills/experience include:
* Available to work Bank Holidays including Black Friday week and weekend, Cyber Monday, Christmas Eve, Boxing Day, New Year’s Day
* Customer Service Skills: Comfortable approaching customers and providing a personalised experience
* Operations Ready: Able to balance customer care with daily shopfloor and operational tasks
* Tech-Savvy: Able to learn and use new technology, including handheld devices, tills and self-checkouts
* Team Player: Collaborative, one-team mindset
* Physical Stamina: On your feet, standing, walking and lifting
* Brand Ambassador: Enthusiastic about Boots ethos, products and services
Desirable experience (not essential): Retail or customer-facing experience; familiarity with Boots products and services
