We are representing a reputable, family-oriented automotive dealership seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join their Preston-based team. This Business Development Manager position is an excellent opportunity for a skilled sales professional looking to advance their career within a well-established group that values growth and customer satisfaction.

This Business Development Manager position offers the chance to drive new business, build strong client relationships, and develop the dealership’s presence in the Preston area. Generate new business by prospecting and engaging with potential B2B clients
Manage and develop relationships with existing and new customers within the Preston area
Conduct outbound sales calls, face-to-face meetings, and follow-ups to achieve sales targets
Promote and sell new and fleet vehicles, tailoring proposals to customer needs
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities
Ensure compliance with company policies and vehicle sales procedures
Stay updated on vehicle specifications and industry developments to enhance customer proposals
Act as a brand ambassador to uphold dealership reputation and values
Meet and beat set KPIs and sales objectives consistentlyRequirements:

Previous experience as a Business Development Manager or in a similar B2B vehicle sales role
Strong understanding of fleet and vehicle sales processes
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Proactive, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently and within a team
Well-organised with the ability to manage multiple leads and accounts effectively
Valid driving licence is essential
