Role Purpose
To support the current and future Additive/Advanced Manufacture programmes delivering direct to customer projects.
Key Accountabilities
* Undertaking mechanical design work to support our reverse engineering processes.
* Work with the team to help draft elements of reports and QinetiQ Design Certificates.
* Support the team with production calls with internal and external stakeholders.
* To contribute to safe and efficient management of our workshop and AdM facilities.
* To develop own understanding and skills in field of materials, mechanical design, engineering governance and additive manufacturing.
Key Capabilities/Knowledge
* Knowledge of Mechanical Engineering with particular interest (i.e. degree module or final year project or actual work experience) in fields of Materials or Additive Manufacturing.
* Capable of expanding knowledge of Mechanical Engineering and Additive Manufacturing at pace under mentorship of subject matter experts.
Experience & Qualifications
Degree (BSc or BEng Hons. minimum) in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent.
