About the Role
We are looking for a Hard Service Manager to lead all Hard FM operations—including planned and reactive maintenance, compliance, and commercial performance—within a multi-stakeholder environment. This includes leading the site team, maintaining regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 9001/14001), ensuring value delivery to clients, and driving operational excellence.
Hours of Work: 40 hours/week (Mon-Fri, with flexibility for weekends and on-call rota)
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and reactive tasks
* Ensure Planet FM system is accurate and current
* Conduct quality audits and compliance reviews
* Provide technical guidance and troubleshoot building system issues
* Lead maintenance staff, conduct reviews, and develop performance plans
* Coordinate contractors and third-party service providers
* Draft, manage, and optimise site maintenance budgets
* Track spending and invoicing; ensure value for money in contracts
* Support business development and capital project feasibility
* Ensure statutory and contractual compliance
* Respond to service user needs and manage site downtime risks
* Prepare reports as per Quality Management System (QMS)
