Attribution Search is partnered with a leading global hedge fund, looking to hire a Senior C# Developer into their Market Data Technology team.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing environment, working on business-critical systems that support trading and risk functions across multiple asset classes. The team is responsible for building and maintaining real-time and historical market data platforms that underpin front-office decision making.
Responsibilities:
As a member of the team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust market data systems, with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability.
* Design, develop, and maintain real-time and historical market data systems using C# / .NET
* Build and optimise data ingestion, validation, transformation, and distribution pipelines
* Ensure systems are resilient and capable of handling high-throughput data under peak load
* Work closely with infrastructure teams to support scalable and reliable system architecture
* Collaborate with quants, traders, and other technology teams to support the full data lifecycle
* Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting to ensure system performance and stability
* Contribute to performance tuning and optimisation of latency-sensitive systems
Requirements:
* Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field
* 5+ years’ experience in C# software development,
* Strong experience working in high-performance or real-time systems environments
* Experience building or supporting data-intensive or distributed systems
* Strong database experience, including SQL Server or other relational databases
* Familiarity with messaging systems such as RabbitMQ or Kafka
* Understanding of modern development practices, including version control (Git), CI/CD, and testing
* Experience with containerisation and cloud platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS) is beneficial
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
