Amazon Music is seeking a Senior Content Strategist responsible for building format-specific content strategies, co-leading the Global Content Organization's (GCO) intake process in Europe, evaluating inbound opportunities, developing and green-lighting new series, and leading partnerships with music festival promoters. This role collaborates across Amazon Music to develop programs that meet KPIs aligned with GCO's vision.
Key job responsibilities
1. Develop mechanisms to scale GCO initiatives and facilitate new content formats.
2. Leverage deep knowledge of global content objectives to craft program strategies.
3. Lead business and leadership reviews, aligning cross-functional teams to drive GCO's goals.
4. Negotiate and manage partnerships with festival promoters, coordinating stakeholders.
5. Collaborate with Data and Insights teams to create performance reports and recommendations.
6. Define and oversee content strategy and execution, including KPIs, SOPs, experimentation, and reporting.
7. Manage program budgets effectively.
8. Partner with global teams to share best practices and develop localization strategies.

The Global Content Organization creates innovative music-driven video content, including livestreams and pre-recorded formats across Amazon channels.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience in business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business.
* Experience in developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements.
* Experience in creating original content.
* Music industry experience.
* Proficiency with analytical tools, metrics, and reporting.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
* Experience in online advertising or high-tech products/services.
* Ability to interpret data and make business recommendations.
* Experience influencing stakeholders internally and externally.
