Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Conveyancer to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of property law and conveyancing processes, with the ability to manage transactions efficiently from start to finish. This role requires excellent negotiation skills and a commitment to providing exceptional service to clients throughout the conveyancing process.
Responsibilities
* Manage the conveyancing process for residential and commercial property transactions, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements.
* Prepare and review legal documents, including contracts, transfer deeds, and mortgage documents.
* Conduct property searches and liaise with local authorities and other relevant parties.
* Negotiate terms of contracts on behalf of clients, ensuring their best interests are represented.
* Communicate effectively with clients, estate agents, and other stakeholders to provide updates on progress and address any concerns.
* Maintain accurate records of all transactions and correspondence in accordance with company policies.
* Stay updated on changes in property law and conveyancing practices to ensure compliance and best practices.
Experience
* Proven experience as a Conveyancer or in a similar role within the legal sector is essential.
* Strong knowledge of property law, conveyancing processes, and relevant legislation.
* Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for clients.
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
* Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a client-focused approach.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
