Job Title: Multi-Skilled Operative (Triage) Salary: £40,557.79 per annum Location: On site with base in Stafford Hours: 45 hours per week, Permanent Are you a skilled tradesperson with a passion for problem-solving and top-tier customer service? What you’ll do: * Carry out a variety of responsive repairs including plumbing, carpentry, plastering, and general building work. * Complete repairs raised through the priority Triage service achieving a first time fix where possible. * To carry out primarily Triage repairs to emergency works orders (4 hour) and urgent works orders (24 hour) and other non-urgent repairs as required. * Deliver excellent customer service while working in tenants’ homes. * Diagnose and prioritise repair tasks independently. * Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles to a high standard. What we’re looking for: * NVQ or City & Guilds qualification in a relevant trade; or time experience. * Full, clean driving licence as travel across Staffordshire and Shropshire will be part of the role. * Proven experience in multi-trade maintenance, ideally within social housing. * Working knowledge of current building regulations, construction industry safety regulations, relevant British standards and codes of practice. * Experience of working on scaffolding and using ladder harnesses * A team player with great initiative and customer care skills.
