Desktop Support Engineer
Contract Duration: 12th January - End of March Rate: £154 Umbrella
Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT Engineer to support a large-scale upgrade project, migrating approximately 1,000 devices from Windows 10 to Windows 11 across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities
* Upgrade and migrate around 1,000 end-user devices from Windows 10 to Windows 11
* Ensure minimal disruption to users during the upgrade process
* Troubleshoot and resolve upgrade-related issues
* Provide on-site user support during and after migrations
* Follow documented upgrade processes and escalation procedures
* Accurately record progress and issues throughout the project
Locations
* Aylesbury (main site)
* High Wycombe
* Amersham
Requirements
* Proven experience upgrading Windows 10 to Windows 11 in an enterprise environment
* Strong desktop support and troubleshooting skills
* Ability to work independently and manage workload across multiple sites
* Full UK driving licence and access to a car (essential due to site travel)
* Good communication and customer-facing skills
