Overview
We are seeking a professional HGV Class 2 Driver specialising in mixer operations to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting concrete mixers to various sites, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining high standards of safety and customer service. Duties
* Operate HGV Class 2 lorries, including mixer trucks, in compliance with all road safety regulations and company policies.
* Deliver concrete and other building materials to construction sites across the region.
* Ensure the secure loading and unloading of materials, adhering to health and safety standards.
* Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
* Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs.
* Assist with the cleaning and basic maintenance of the vehicle as required.
* Follow designated routes and schedules to meet delivery deadlines efficiently.
Skills
* Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with mixer or flatbed vehicles.
* Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for driving large vehicles.
* Delivery driver experience is highly desirable, with a focus on punctuality and customer service.
* Ability to operate flatbed trucks or similar vehicles is a plus.
* Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in documentation and vehicle checks.
* Good communication skills for liaising with clients and team members.
* Valid UK driving licence for HGV Class 2 vehicles, with no more than six points on your licence. This role is ideal for motivated drivers who prioritise safety, reliability, and professionalism in their work environment.

Pay: £14.00-£15.00 per hour
