Commercial Property Solicitor — Position Overview:
You will manage a varied commercial property caseload while working within a growing and supportive team. The role offers a high level of autonomy and encourages active participation in business development and client relationship building.
Key Responsibilities of the Commercial Property Solicitor:
* Advising on general landlord and tenant matters including leases, underleases, licences and surrenders
* Handling acquisitions and disposals of freehold and leasehold property
* Drafting option agreements, overage clauses and TOGC documentation
* Advising on expired commercial leases including periodic tenancies, trespassers and mesne profits
* Preparing title reports and advising on risk and mitigation strategies
* Managing auction sales and purchases
* Handling matters involving unregistered land
* Providing corporate support on property elements of transactions
Requirements of the Commercial Property Solicitor:
* Qualified Solicitor with 4-6 years' PQE in Commercial Property
* Strong technical knowledge of landlord and tenant and property transactions
* Ability to manage matters independently with minimal supervision
* Commercially aware with excellent organisational skills
* Strong communication and client relationship skills
* Interest in business development and networking
