Associate Property Lawyer Role
Are you a recent Law graduate looking to start your professional career? If so, this role might be for you.
We are recruiting Associate Property Lawyers to join our team in St Leonards On Sea. This position is suitable for someone seeking a training role in conveyancing or currently managing a remortgage caseload and eager to expand their knowledge and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage a caseload involving all aspects of conveyancing transactions from instruction to completion, including registration and file closure.
2. Take instructions, maintain accurate notes, communicate with clients and third parties, and draft legal documents such as Standard Precedent Letters, Contract Packs, Exchange and Completion letters, and Land Registry and HMRC forms.
3. Perform Pre-completion, Land Registry, and Conveyancing searches accurately and timely, ensuring all paperwork and funds are in order for exchange and completion.
4. Complete Post-Completion tasks including applications to the Land Registry, Stamp Duty Land Tax submissions, and file closures.
Skills and Experience:
* Qualified candidates with a Law Degree, LPC, Solicitor, or Legal Executive with at least 1 year of conveyancing experience are preferred.
* Excellent communication skills, good time management, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Attention to detail is essential.
* Self-motivated, capable of working independently or as part of a team.
* Knowledge of Case Management Systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is preferred but not mandatory.
