Children's Home Manager
South Croydon
Up to £70,000 per annum
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to lead a children's residential care home in South Croydon. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a high-quality service that is committed to supporting young people in need of care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Register with OFSTED as the manager of the home
* Ensure the home meets OFSTED and company standards for care and compliance
* Provide a safe, supportive environment for all children, promoting their well-being and development
* Lead, manage, recruit, and support a dedicated staff team
* Oversee the home's budget and manage financial resources effectively
* Manage referrals, ensuring the home meets the needs of the children and young people
* Work closely with HR, Responsible Individual (RI), and Operations Management to ensure the smooth operation of the home
* Drive positive outcomes for young people, supporting their growth and development
About the Service:
* A 2-bedded children's residential care home
* Supporting children aged 8-17 with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and challenging behaviours
* Currently rated Good by OFSTED
* Part of a nationally recognised organisation that is a leading provider of residential childcare
The Package:
* Salary up to £70,000 per annum
* Bonus opportunities
* Full-time, permanent contract
To be considered for this role, you will need:
* NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management (or equivalent)
* At least 2 years' experience as a Deputy or Manager in a children's home
* A valid Driving Licence
