The Royal Navy Officers' Charity (RNOC) provides benevolence to both serving and retired officers of the Naval Service, their spouses, former spouses and dependants who are in need of financial support.

Are you a strategic leader with a passion for service? Due to the impending retirement of the current CEO, a unique opportunity has arisen to become the new CEO of the combined Royal Navy Officers Charity (RNOC) and The Association of Royal Navy Officers (ARNO). In this role you will drive strategic growth, deliver life-changing benevolence, and champion the Royal Navy’s officer community.
The Mission
* Engage & Deliver: Through relationship building, empathy and a focus on the needs of our community, deliver benevolence swiftly, decisively and without judgement.
* Grow & Connect: Build membership through innovative benefits, forge powerful partnerships, and explore bold collaborations.
* Steward with Precision: Oversee investments, manage budgets, ensure compliance (FCA, Charity Commission, GDPR), and audited accounts with transparency, rigour and foresight.
* Empower & Represent: Lead with vision, passion and energy, ensure resilient governance, and be the proud voice of RNOC/ARNO at national events.
You’ll Thrive If You Bring
* Deep Royal Navy or Maritime understanding, advocacy and knowledge.
* Strong budgeting and financial controls experience in either charity or business environments.
* Proven ability to lead complex projects and diverse teams under pressure.
* Membership growth expertise—recruit, engage, retain.
* Polished communication skills, engaging with people at all levels.
* Ability to demonstrate resilience, ethics, empathy and a “get-it-done” spirit.
