Zest Education is recruiting a detail-oriented and proactive Attendance Officer to join a secondary school in Lichfield. This is a key role in supporting pupils’ learning by promoting excellent attendance and punctuality across the school. Role Responsibilities: * Monitor and record daily pupil attendance using SIMS / Arbor * Follow up on absences via phone calls, texts, and emails * Work with pupils, parents, and staff to improve attendance rates * Produce attendance reports for school leadership and external agencies * Support with safeguarding by identifying attendance concerns early * Assist with general office/admin tasks when required Ideal Candidate: ✅ Previous school administration or attendance experience (essential) ✅ Strong knowledge of SIMS / Arbor systems ✅ Excellent communication skills when liaising with parents and pupils ✅ Organised, reliable, and able to work independently ✅ Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures ✅ Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) If you are interested in this position or want to find out more contact Mia at Zest Education or ‘apply for job’ at the top of the page to submit your details.
