Driver's Mates – Lanark
Urgent requirement / guaranteed 48 hours per week / temp - perm opportunity
People Solutions are currently recruiting a Driver’s Mate on behalf of our client based in Lanark.
This is an immediate start opportunity offering guaranteed full-time hours and the chance to secure a permanent position for reliable candidates.
The site is in Lanark and you must be able to drive and have your own transport due to early start times.
Shifts:
* Monday to Friday
* Start times can be as early as 4:00am
* Guaranteed 48 hours per week
Pay Rate:
£12.71 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties:
Your duties as a Driver's Mate will be:
* Assisting drivers with deliveries to customer's homes
* Loading and unloading products safely (heavy lifting involved)
* Supporting with route completion and paperwork
* Delivering excellent customer service
* Following all health & safety procedures
Essential Skills:
The skills required to be a Driver's Mate will be:
* Must drive and have access to your own transport due to location of the site and start times
* Able to travel to Lanark for early morning starts
* Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
* Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
Training:
* Site assessment prior to start
* Manual handling training provided
* Drug and alcohol test required before starting
