European Billing Coordinator London | Full‑time | Reporting to Finance Supervisor A leading international law firm is seeking a European Billing Coordinator, this role provides billing and client‑engagement support to partners in the firm's German offices, as well as the London TCG practice. You will take responsibility for bill preparation, inventory management, and client liaison. For London TCG clients, the role also includes supporting client and matter openings, and AML processes. Fluent German language skills and law firm billing experience is required for this role. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review bills in line with firm policy and German/UK tax requirements, ensuring partner approval and efficient distribution to clients.Upload e‑bills to relevant client platforms and liaise with the e‑billing team.Support London TCG with client and matter openings, including conflict checks and AML documentation.Ensure engagement letters are issued and returned, and that fee alerts, currencies, and fee arrangements are correctly recorded.Monitor all matters for designated partners, prompting billing activity and ensuring residual WIP is cleared.Arrange monthly inventory review meetings with partners, summarising outcomes and discussing best course of action.Process time transfers and write offs. Conduct client reviews to verify client/matter arrangements.Prepare and distribute weekly WIP updates to clients when requested.Liaise with clients on accounts receivable matters, ensuring invoices have been received and addressing issues promptly.Provide AR and WIP information for audit queries. Person Specification Experience in billings and collections, from within a law firm.Proficient in billing systems (Aderant preferred) and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills.Confident engaging with clients and senior stakeholders.Fluent in English and German (written and spoken).
