Job description
Proven Planning Manager with experience of working on major rail programmes required for an initial 15 month contract in Leeds. Hybrid working is offered but there will be a need to travel to Manchester and York when required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing planning and scheduling services to support a major rail infrastructure programme
* Taking the lead on project scheduling, coordination, and stakeholder management
* Conducting periodic programme reviews and maintaining schedules
* Integrating risk management into scheduling processes
* Generating and presenting reports to ensure projects stay on track
Job Requirements:
* Experience of working on major rail projects in a planning management capacity
* Proficiency in motivating and leading planning teams
* Knowledge of NEC4 schedule contractual requirements
* Experience working with technical engineering, construction, and access disciplines
* Ability to use and operate P6 Loadspring database, including creating and managing security privileges
Other Details:
* This is a contract position for 15 months
* Based in Leeds, with travel to York and Manchester as needed
