Working Foreman – Civils Permanent Location: Glasgow Salary: £18 per hour (books in) + van + benefits Ref: GR1466 Gibson Recruitment Limited Job Description National Civil Engineering Contractor with a solid pipeline of projects and a growing team who are now recruiting an experienced Working Foreman. The successful Foreman will be capable of supervising gangs, maintaining records, diaries, delivering toolbox talks and driving a programme. You should have a demonstrable experience of concrete repairs & waterproof coatings. Role & Responsibilities * Comfortable being the main point of contact with the Client. * Responsible for quality of workmanship in all areas on site * Responsible for productivity in all areas on site * Promote a high Health & Safety awareness throughout the site. * Site records to be maintained. * Control of works on site in conjunction with other members of site management team. * Control of plant hire and maintenance and security of same * Ordering materials and plant for site works. * Awareness of site budget * Awareness of programme constraints and driving works to meet targets.
