We're looking for an HR Compliance Advisor to join our HR Shared Services team based in Rushden.
Location: Rushden - hybrid working available, with 1-2 days per week in the Rushden office as required
Hours: 37.5 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us
What will you be responsible for?
As an HR Compliance Advisor, you'll support the HR Shared Services team with right to work and immigration activities across Kier, including employment screening such as DBS checks and security clearance. A key aspect of this role involves managing Kier's Home Office Licences and Skilled Worker sponsorship procedures, as well as developing and delivering right to work training for recruitment stakeholders.
Your daily tasks will include:
* Providing guidance on UK immigration queries, managing the ‘HR Compliance' queue on Oracle Service Cloud within SLAs, and seeking legal support as needed.
* Keeping up to date with Home Office regulation changes, updating guidance and training materials accordingly.
* Supporting recruiters, HRBPs, and hiring managers with Skilled Worker sponsorship processes.
* Ensuring adherence to processes and procedures, updating process maps and Local Working Instructions (LWIs) as necessary.
* Processing certificates of sponsorship requests, ensuring all documentation meets Home Office requirements.
* Managing the Resident Permit expiry reminder process, obtaining updated right to work copies and records by deadlines.
What are we looking for?
This role is suitable if you have:
* Experience with right to work processes and UKVI SMS for sponsored migrants.
* Strong communication skills and high literacy standards to interact effectively across stakeholders.
* Exceptional attention to detail.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems such as Oracle.
* Experience in risk identification, control assessment, and providing timely recommendations.
