Role Purpose
Develop, operate, and monitor contract programmes to ensure work scope is executed within budget and timeframe.
Main Responsibilities
1. Produce all necessary programmes in accordance with contract requirements.
2. Monitor and update programmes through discussions with relevant parties.
3. Identify and communicate critical path deviations for management action.
4. Utilize approved software packages to meet planning objectives.
5. Integrate emergent works into existing programmes effectively.
6. Regularly report progress and record delays with reasons.
Key Duties
* Produce and monitor programmes continually against performance metrics.
* Incorporate programme variations and report to clients/management.
* Identify potential problem areas and advise remedial actions.
* Allocate estimated costs to activities and assist in programme baselining.
* Develop and communicate resource requirements for project timelines.
* Analyze Earned Value Performance metrics.
Experiences & Qualifications
* Experience as an assistant/trainee Planning Engineer.
* Experience in Petrochemical, Power & Process industries.
* Ability to develop feasible activity programmes from scope of work.
* Strong communication skills for liaising with relevant parties.
* Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Excel for accurate reporting.
* Awareness of technical implications and safety, quality, and cost considerations.
Role Qualifications
* Relevant HNC/Degree qualification.
* QCF Diploma Level 3/5 in Planning.
* APMP Practitioner certification.
* Relevant craft and CPD training.
WIMS Requirements
* Competency-Based Interview.
Mandatory
* CCNSG certification.
