Job Title: Cleaner Location: Royston Contract: Permanent – Part Time 14 hours per week) Working Pattern: Saturday & Sunday 7:00am to 2:00pm Rate of Pay: £15.05 per hour About the Role Sodexo is seeking a reliable and hardworking Cleaning Operative to join our team at the Johnson Matthey site in Royston. Working within a busy industrial and scientific environment, you will play a key role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across offices, laboratories, welfare facilities, toilets, showers, and communal areas. Your contribution will help ensure a safe, professional, and welcoming workplace for employees, visitors, and contractors while supporting the site's commitment to health, safety, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality cleaning across offices, laboratories, welfare facilities and communal areas Maintain excellent hygiene, safety and housekeeping standards Follow Health & Safety, COSHH and site-specific procedures at all times Ensure cleaning equipment, supplies and storage areas are well maintained and fully stocked Provide professional customer service and support team cover when required Wear appropriate PPE, complete required records and participate in training and development activities What We’re Looking For Previous cleaning experience with a strong understanding of hygiene standards Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable, punctual and hardworking with a positive attitude A safe and professional approach to work, following Health & Safety procedures What We Offer Working with Sodexo is more than a job it’s a chance to be part of something greater.
