Position: MIG Welder Industry: Automotive Components Manufacturing Location: ST10 1UF Contract: Full-time Shifts: Rotating - Mornings & Afternoons Driving Licence: Required We are seeking an experienced and reliable MIG Welder to join our production team. You will be responsible for welding and fabricating components used in catalytic converters, diesel particulate filters (DPFs), and exhaust systems. This role involves precision tube work, jig work, and high‑volume production welding in a fast‑paced environment. Perform high‑quality MIG welding on tubing and exhaust components. Set up, adjust, and operate jigs and fixtures for production work. Fabricate and assemble catalytic converters, diesel particulate units, and exhaust systems. Conduct visual and measurement checks to ensure weld integrity and product accuracy. Work effectively as part of a rotating shift team (mornings and afternoons). Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with company standards. Follow production targets and quality requirements with attention to detail. Proven experience as a MIG welder, preferably in automotive or similar production environments. Strong ability in tube welding and jig-based fabrication work. Understanding of welding processes, materials, and safety procedures. Ability to read and work from technical drawings (advantageous). Good attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent quality in repetitive production work. Full, valid driving licence (essential). This will be paid at £31,400 per annum, with a generous bonus scheme.
