Accounts Payable Clerk, Industry, Perm, 3pm finish every Friday

This is an excellent opportunity for a suitably experienced Accounts Payable professional to secure a role with a leading organisation and significantly enhance their career. Working as part of a large dedicated finance team, this will be a challenging and varied role.
Your new role
Responsibilities
1. Matching, checking, coding & input to accounts system
2. Process supplier invoices and credit notes in a timely and accurate manner.
3. Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
4. Prepare and process supplier payment runs in line with payment terms.
5. Liaise with internal departments and suppliers to resolve invoice queries promptly.
6. Query resolution
7. Support the Accounts Payable Manager
8. Other Ad hoc projects as required
What you'll need to succeed
• Significant experience in a similar role with a strong understanding of the Accounts Payable function• Proficient on all Microsoft Office programs with strong capabilities within Excel
• Confident both numerically and grammatically to deal with complex scenarios and formal correspondence, communicating globally at managerial/directorial level
What you'll get in return
Hours of Work:• 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Thursday.
• 8.30am to 3.00pm Friday.
Benefits
