Responsibilities
As an ADHD Specialist Independent Prescriber you will:
* Deliver evidence-based prescribing and medication management for adults with ADHD, in line with national guidelines and clinical policies.
* Manage a defined caseload through the titration and ongoing treatment phases.
* Conduct End of Titration Reviews and annual medication reviews.
* Communicate with patients via secure digital platforms, providing supportive and professional guidance.
* Monitor treatment effectiveness, assess risks and escalate safeguarding concerns when appropriate.
* Maintain accurate and timely clinical records using digital systems.
* Contribute to clinical governance, audits, quality improvement and service development.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will:
* Be a qualified clinician with Independent Prescribing rights (e.g. V300 or equivalent) and registered with NMC or GPhC.
* Have experience in the management of ADHD, including prescribing, titrating and monitoring medication.
* Demonstrate strong clinical judgement, excellent communication skills and the ability to work autonomously within a digital care model.
* Have sound understanding of clinical governance and safeguard practice in mental health settings.
* Be confident using digital healthcare platforms and maintaining high standards of record keeping.
