About the Band 5 Radiographer RoleThis General X-Ray Radiographer job involves delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging across emergency and elective services. You will work within a fully digital Radiology department using Philips equipment, covering both in-department imaging and mobile radiography.This is a varied NHS Radiography contract with exposure to outpatient, inpatient, and emergency imaging pathways, making it ideal for a confident and competent General Radiographer.
Key Responsibilities – Radiographer Job DutiesPerform General X-ray imaging for Outpatients (OP), Inpatients (IP), GP referrals, and Emergency Department (ED)Undertake mobile radiography across wards and clinical areasProvide theatre radiography support using Philips digital systemsDeliver imaging for both emergency and planned proceduresMaintain high standards of patient care, radiation safety, and image qualityWork collaboratively within a multidisciplinary NHS team
