Duties of the Aftersales Manager:
12. Lead and develop the workshop technician team to maximise efficiency, sold hours, and first-time fix rates
13. Drive customer-facing team performance to optimise upselling opportunities without compromising exceptional customer service
14. Implement new digital systems and processes aligned with the dealership’s digitalisation strategy
15. Support the skills development, knowledge, and career progression of team members
16. Streamline operational processes within the Customer Journey, including Vehicle Health Checks
17. Ensure compliance with group financial policies, DVSA MOT regulations, and health & safety standards
18. Contribute to the overall success and smooth operation of the dealership department
19. Monitor and analyse key performance indicators to meet short, medium, and long-term goals
20. Foster a positive team environment ensuring staff motivation and engagement are maintained
21. Maintain a focus on delivering a seamless, efficient service experience for all customers
Requirements of the Aftersales Manager:
22. Proven experience as an Aftersales Manager within a busy automotive dealership
23. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
24. Excellent organisational and communication skills
25. Sound knowledge of manufacturer processes, DVSA regulations, and health & safety standards
26. Digital proficiency with the ability to adopt new systems quickly
27. Customer-focused approach with a passion for delivering outstanding service
28. Ability to analyse performance data and implement strategies for improvement
29. Full UK driving licence is preferred
