Position: Children's Home Dual Registered Manager (1 & 2 Bed homes) Location: Bransley Salary: £56,981 Bonuses Contract Type: Permanent | Full-Time The Heart of the Role: Tezlom has a great opportunity for passionate, dedicated, and skilled Children's Home Dual Registered Manager (1 & 2 Bed homes) services in Barnsley looking after not just one, but two of amazing homes! You will be overseeing a one and a two bedroom home with a small team already assigned. Benefits * 25 days annual leave 8 bank holidays * £3,000 bonus per home for “Outstanding” Ofsted rating (£6,000 potential) * Full occupancy bonus (£300 per month) * On-call payments (£25 weekday / £35 weekend) * Pension scheme * Petrol allowance (business insurance required) * Supportive, established organisation with real focus on quality care What you’ll be doing * Day-to-day management of both homes, ensuring high-quality care and compliance with legislation, Ofsted and organisational policies. * Leading and inspiring the team to deliver positive outcomes for children and young people. * Building strong, effective relationships with young people, colleagues, families, and external agencies. * Driving quality standards and ensuring safeguarding and child protection procedures are consistently met. * Overseeing admissions, discharges, records, reports and monitoring systems. * Chairing meetings, contributing to senior leadership, and promoting innovation in care provision. * Taking part in on-call responsibilities and supporting rotas when needed. What we’re looking for * A recognised qualification such as QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (Children & Young People), plus a QCF Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People Workforce (or equivalent). * Minimum 3 years’ experience in children’s residential care within the last 5 years, including at least 1 year in a supervisory/management role. * Strong knowledge of Ofsted inspection requirements, safeguarding, and children’s home legislation. * A confident leader with experience managing and motivating a team. * Must hold a full manual driving licence and have access to your own vehicle. * Enthusiastic, resilient, and passionate about delivering outstanding care This is more than just a management role - it's a chance to be part of a supportive organisation
