We are delighted to be working with a well-regarded faith primary school in Hounslow that is seeking a dedicated and experienced KS1 or KS2 Class Teacher to join their team for the full academic year from September 2026 to July 2027. Role Overview
Position: KS1 or KS2 Class Teacher
Start Date: September 2026 - July 2027
Location: Hounslow, West London
Pay: MPS 1-6 Inner London (£206.95 - £268.21 per day, PAYE)
Contract: Full-time, full academic year
Key Responsibilities
As a Class Teacher, you will take full responsibility for the learning and development of your class, delivering high-quality teaching in line with the National Curriculum. Responsibilities include:
Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons tailored to meet the needs of all learners
Creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment that reflects the school's faith-based values and ethos
Assessing, tracking, and monitoring pupil progress, using data to inform teaching and targeted support
Supporting pupils' academic progress while also promoting their personal, social, and emotional development
Delivering high-quality English and Maths teaching, alongside a broad and balanced curriculum
Implementing effective behaviour management strategies rooted in respect and consistency
Supporting pupils with a range of needs, including SEN and EAL
Working collaboratively with colleagues to share planning, resources, and best practice
Building strong relationships with parents, carers, and the wider school community
Contributing to the wider life of the school, including assemblies, events, and upholding the school's faith ethosThe Ideal Candidate Will:
Have strong teaching experience within either KS1 or KS2
Be committed to delivering high standards of teaching and learning
Demonstrate excellent behaviour management with a calm and nurturing approach
Be passionate about supporting all pupils to achieve their full potential
Be a reflective practitioner who thrives in a collaborative environment
