The owners of a well run busy country pub are seeking a Head Chef that can continue to deliver the food standards which are expected by the locals and visitors that return regularly due to the pubs reputation in the area.
The position has been available to due to retirement of the current Head Chef.
The Head Chef will need to work closely with the owners & team to ensure service times run smoothly and the kitchen paperwork is all up to date. The menus consist of modern British pub style dishes using fresh seasonal ingredients sourced locally. As Head Chef you will be leading the team from the front ensuring the standards are maintained during busy peak seasons which sees the outdoor area being used also.
Live in Accommodation is also available with this role.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate for this role will have been working as a Chef for a minimum of 2 years in a fresh food led pub and be used to volume. Role is ideal for a Head Chef or Sous looking for the next step up. A Chef that is a good leader and can remain calm under pressure would suit this role.
