Warehouse Stock Operative
Location: St. Helens
Salary: £23,907 per annum
Our client is an innovative and market-leading organisation providing audit services to some of the largest Food, DIY, and Apparel retailers in the UK and Europe. We work closely with our customers, often as an extension of their teams, to deliver value-added business solutions. Due to continued success, we are now recruiting Warehouse Staff for the following position.
The Position
* This is a full-time, permanent role based at our customer's distribution centre.
* Rate of pay: £23,907 per year
* Weekly hours: 37.5 hours, plus a 30-minute unpaid daily break
* Shift Pattern: 5 days out of 7, shifts between 11am and 7pm
* Working Environment: Chilled
A Day in the Life of a Warehouse Stock Operative
As a Warehouse Stock Operative, you will be part of a dynamic and supportive team working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment to ensure the accuracy of stock entering or leaving the depot. Your activities may vary and include working across multiple workstreams such as Goods Inbound checks, Picker Accuracy audits, and Load Adherence checks, many of which involve manual handling.
Job Activities
* Audit inbound accuracy of supplier deliveries using the GFR program.
* Audit picker accuracy for stock destined for stores and investigate errors.
* Follow audit and error verification procedures diligently.
* Maintain data integrity at all times.
* Achieve productivity levels aligned with customer expectations.
* Review daily targets to meet customer standards.

Job Requirements
* Ability to respond actively to verbal instructions and audible warning devices
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal
* Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
* Must be at least 18 years old
