The role
Farrow & Ball - People Operations Administrator - Wimborne, Dorset (6 month FTC - 18 hours per week) We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our People & Culture team in Wimborne, Dorset as a People Operations Administrator . We are offering this position on a part-time basis 18 hours per week , for a 6-month FTC . Please note this role will work hybrid between home and our office in Wimborne. The key to our success is the people behind the paint: from the team handcrafting each tin to showroom staff to support functions, our shared passion ensures customers have a positive, engaging experience at every stage of their journey with us. We are looking for a People Operations Administrator supporting a period of increased workload driven by key project activity. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong HR systems knowledge (HRIS) or Time & Attendance (T&A) experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality People Operations services, ensuring efficient and accurate HR administration across the employee lifecycle. What we expect from you Key Responsibilities: Support the People Operations Manager and Team, across the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding and offboarding, ensuring timely and effective delivery of processes Maintain and develop knowledgebases, documentation, and process guidance aligned with company policies and best practices Assist with HRIS, T&A and payroll system activities, driving continuous improvement and process efficiencies in collaboration with Digital and HRIS teams Ensure high levels of data accuracy and integrity through audits, data validation, and regular payroll and HR data reviews Support GDPR compliance, data privacy, and employee records management, including documentation and retention policies Provide reporting support for People & Culture, Finance, and external stakeholders, including headcount, absence, turnover, pensions, etc. Key Attributes: Ideally, previous experience in a HR administration or People Operations role Strong systems capability, ideally with HRIS and/or Time & Attendance systems Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and data accuracy Comfortable working with data, reporting, and continuous process improvement Proactive, collaborative, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment What you can expect from us: 25 days’ annual leave (increasing with length of service) plus bank holidays Annual salary reviews, based on individual performance Enhanced Maternity and Paternity pay Generous staff discount on F&B products Access to our retail discounts platform Employee Assistance Programme with 24/7 support Health Cash Plan Company Sick Pay Group Pension Scheme, matched by F&B Life Assurance Refer a Friend scheme Cycle to Work scheme Season Ticket Loans for travel At Farrow & Ball we are committed to encouraging equality, diversity and inclusion among our people, with an aim to be truly representative of all sections of society and our customers.
