We are pleased to present an exciting permanent opportunity with a leading global financial services organisation, within their high-performing Lending Operations team. The role offers a hybrid working model of 3 days in the office and 2 days from home, with occasional requirements to be on-site up to 4 days per week.
About the Role
This position sits within a product-focused operations team supporting Principal Finance clients and managing the full end-to-end loan lifecycle. Rather than being separated by narrow functional lines, the successful candidate will gain broad exposure across the full process, including:
Draft documentation review support
Financial close
KYC coordination
Deal onboarding
Ongoing servicing via LoanIQ
LoanIQ experience is advantageous but not essential; experience with another corporate loans system will also be considered.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will support the operational setup, settlement and ongoing servicing of a diverse portfolio of debt and equity transactions across both corporate and real estate sectors. Working closely with internal stakeholders across front office, risk, finance and legal, responsibilities will include:
Primary and secondary loan settlement and booking
Day-to-day loan administration of bilateral and syndicated positions
Navigating loan documentation to support deal booking, funding and cashflow management
Submitting KYC requests and supporting conflicts checks
Processing loan utilisations, rollovers, interest payments (cash and PIK), repayments and prepayments
Managing borrower covenants and information undertakings
Settling secondary loan trades (manually and via ClearPar)
What Youll Bring
Strong academic background
A minimum of 3 years experience in loan administration
Experience with LoanIQ or another corporate loan management platform
Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines
Strong numerical and Excel skills, alongside effective problem-solving ability
Solid understanding of loan management processes
