Consultant General Adult Psychiatry Austim- Remote Only Role
Mentus Recruitment are seeking Consultant Psychiatrists for work on a remote only basis to complete adult Autism diagnostic assessments.
Our client is a reputable provider of neurodevelopmental assessments and due to continued growth are looking for consultants in adult psychiatry to work on a remote only, self employed basis.
Their patient focused approach and team of expert psychiatrists and neurodevelopmental specialist has led them to become one of the fastest growing providers of neurodevelopmental assessments for adults and children.
You will be part of a specialist team that are dedicated to providing comprehensive assessments using an evidence based approach. Assessments are booked to suit your availability and you can work from a few hours per week up to a few days per week.
This role is well supported by a team of administrators and other clinicians. All patients are fully triaged by clinicians and you will work alongside an assistant to support you with managing your diary and other administrative tasks.

All assessments and follow up appointments are 100% remote.
MDT approach to Autism Assessments- The role of the consultant is to complete a psychiatric evaluation, developmental history and collateral. Review information from ADOS/ ADI-R assessments to formulate and give a diagnosis.
Hours of work: Flexible- you can work at times that suityou.
Work as much or as little as you like!
Days of work: You can choose a day that suits you, 7 days per week from 8am to 8pm.
Location: This role is to be based remotely and you can work 100% from home (UK based)
Contract: This role is ongoing on a self-employed contract.
Rate of Pay: £225 to £250 per Assessment
Payment Method: LTD Company or Self Employed

Essential Criteria:
- Demonstrated experience in a relevant role in the NHS or Private Sector.
- Specialist experienced in completing diagnostic ASD assessments
- Full GMC Registration with license to practice
- On the specialist register in general or CAMHS Psychiatry.
- Available for long term work
- Can commit to regular days/ times for work.
- Proficient in working online and remotely
