Role Overview
The Performing Arts Technician will support the technical delivery of school productions, concerts, assemblies, and events.
Key responsibilities include:
* Setting up and operating lighting, sound, and staging equipment
* Supporting rehearsals and live performances
* Maintaining theatre equipment and technical inventory
* Assisting staff and students with technical training and safety procedures
* Managing backstage operations during productions
* Coordinating technical aspects of school events and performances
* Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
* Supporting the maintenance of rehearsal spaces and performance venues
* Assisting with equipment procurement and stock control
* Providing technical advice to teaching staff
The role requires flexibility, technical knowledge, and the ability to work occasional evening events during production periods.
Performing Arts Department Information
