Administrator/Receptionist

Are you a calm, organised, and people-focused individual looking for a role where every day brings something new? At St John's House Care Home in Norwich we're looking for a friendly and efficient Administrator/Receptionist to be the heart of our front-of-house team.

This is more than just a job — it's a chance to make a real difference in people's lives while working in a supportive, fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.

We're offering 15 hours per week, at an hourly rate of £12.75. Days are flexible to suit the right person. Additional hours available on an ad-hoc basis to cover annual leave, sickness, etc.

Key responsibilities:

* You'll greet guests and telephone enquirers with warmth and professionalism.
* Check invoices, and manage the homes petty cash.
* A good understanding of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn in-house IT systems is essential.
* Prepare and submit accurate payroll returns, covering hours worked, sickness, holidays, starters, and leavers.
* Support new residents with fee payments and maintain accurate records.
* Liaise with suppliers to ensure our home is always well-stocked.
* Provide essential clerical support to the General Manager — from diary management to filing.
