As a member of the Shipping Team, you will be responsible for the accurate shipment of goods to our customers all over the world, including leading a team of two employees.
What you will be doing
* Promote and ensure the business requirements and customer deliverables are achieved, as well as ensuring the departmental performance against targets.
* Coach and develop the team to ensure their role is fully understood and have the tools and knowledge to deliver.
* Ensure the promotion of awareness of customer satisfaction throughout the department.
* Ensure the transportation standards and or legal compliances are being followed for all shipments.
* Look at areas for continuous improvement; raise and implement using Kaizen activities and workshops.
* Report to relevant department any document or delivery discrepancies.
* Identify training needs.
* Attend team meetings.
* Support and direct the shipping function, through preparation of packing instructions, packing lists and invoices etc.
* Understanding and keeping up with regulatory requirements that directly impact Crowcon and its products.
* Preparation of documents and statements to satisfy customs clearance and Commerce Legislations.
* Arrangement of Courier services.
* Carry out any other duty deemed appropriate by manager.
