We sell filtration solutions to blue chip companies worldwide; an opportunity has arisen to join our growing team.
We are looking for a mechanical assembly engineer to assist in the construction of fuel cleaning equipment. Based in St Albans, Southwest Hertfordshire, we are looking for a team member to work alongside our existing engineers; the right candidate would have a good grounding in assembly skills and would ideally have a knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic assemblies (fluid tight connections, good mechanical practices). While the job is a mechanical one, some electrical knowledge is a bonus. We have an established set of designs, but customers do occasionally ask for modifications which will require some on-the-fly engineering skills. Our existing team of engineers will assist with this, along with providing any training required.
The job involves cutting of polymer, cutting of metals, preparing mechanical components, assembly of mechanical components onto boards/frames and working alongside the electrical engineers to construct high quality machines for the fuel industry. Quality assurance tests and product sign off. Occasional design work alongside other engineers. Occasional UK based site work to check machines, change filters, etc (training given).
We are looking for the right person to help continue our successful enterprise; this may mean assistance in developing new products, and ensuring our company and products are viewed with the highest regards at all times. We are looking for someone to grow with us, are you that person?
