We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed professional to join us as a SENDCo.
The successful candidate will:
* Support the strategic development of SEND provision in the school.
* Complete Annual Reviews, Interim Reviews, and Emergency Reviews of EHCPs in line with the SEND code of practice.
* Be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the SEND policy and coordinate specific provision to support individual pupils with SEN or a disability.
* Oversee the looked-after pupils within the school.
* Provide professional guidance to colleagues, working closely with staff, parents, and other agencies.
* Advise on the use of the school’s budget and other resources to meet pupils’ needs effectively, including staff development.
* Promote inclusion in the school community and access to the curriculum.
* Lead and manage staff and the effective deployment of staff and resources.
* Lead interventions that support all pupils.
* Ensure quality assurance of teaching and learning with a focus on SEND provision.
* Attend and review PEP meetings.
Our ideal candidate will have:
* An accredited SENDCo qualification.
* QTS or QTLs.
* A passion for education and inclusion.
* Leadership experience and qualities.
* Readiness to develop leadership skills within a school.
* Ability to effectively manage SEND provision in partnership with the Headteacher.

We are developing a new Therapeutic Education Service to support Keys Group children, opening in January 2026. This site is transitioning from one of our children’s residential homes and is undergoing exciting growth.
