A well‑established all‑girls secondary school in the Liverpool area is seeking a dedicated and fully qualified Chemistry Teacher to join its thriving Science Department. This role will begin on a temporary basis with a strong likelihood of becoming permanent for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, well‑structured Chemistry lessons across KS3 and KS4.
Support students in achieving excellent progress through high‑quality teaching and clear explanations.
Apply effective behaviour management strategies consistent with the school’s reputation for strong conduct and respectful relationships.
Regularly assess student work and provide meaningful feedback that drives improvement.
Contribute to curriculum development and departmental planning within the Science faculty.
Uphold the school’s culture of respect, aspiration, wellbeing, and academic ambition.
Person Specification
Essential
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching Chemistry at Key Stage 4.
Strong subject knowledge with the ability to communicate scientific concepts confidently and clearly.
Effective behaviour management and commitment to maintaining high classroom standards.
Passion for supporting young women to achieve highly in Science.
Desirable
Experience teaching in an all‑girls secondary school environment.
Familiarity with GCSE Chemistry exam specifications.
