Job Responsibilties: Project Coordination: Oversee daily site operations to ensure timely delivery of water main replacement works, coordinating closely with site teams and subcontractors. Material & Equipment Management: Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials and equipment to site teams, preventing delays and maintaining workflow efficiency. Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance Uphold and enforce all HSE standards on-site, conducting regular inspections and promoting a culture of safety. Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with clients, local authorities, and internal teams to provide updates, resolve issues, and maintain strong working relationships. Team Leadership: Lead and motivate site personnel, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment aligned with Browne’s values. Progress Monitoring & Reporting: Track project milestones, maintain accurate site records, and report progress to senior management, highlighting risks and mitigation strategies. Quality Assurance: Ensure all works meet required specifications and standards, conducting inspections and managing quality control documentation. Problem Solving: Respond swiftly to site challenges, including logistical issues or unforeseen delays, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines. Cost Control: Monitor site expenditures, manage resources efficiently, and support the commercial team in maintaining budgetary control. Continuous Improvement : Contribute to process improvements and innovation, helping Browne set new benchmarks in water infrastructure delivery. Experience Required: Utilities or Civil Engineering Site Management: Experience managing infrastructure projects, ideally in water mains or utilities, with a strong understanding of site operations, health & safety, and quality standards. Logistics & Resource Coordination: Proven ability to manage the timely delivery of materials and equipment to field teams, avoiding delays and ensuring smooth project progression Leadership & Stakeholder Communication: Experience leading site teams and subcontractors, while effectively liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal departments to maintain project momentum. Essential Qualifications: Full driving license. Water Hygiene NRSWA – Unit 10 (or equivalent),backfilling and reinstating. Cable Avoidance/Safe Digging 1st AID Able to utilise basic I.T programmes (excel, word and outlook) to support completion of key tasks to include and not limited to safety inspections, observations, the management of key programme activities (client notifications for isolations of network, sampling, issuing customer communications), request for back up driver etc. Desirable Qualifications: Temporary Works Supervisor Slinger/Signaller NPORS Traffic Marshall or Banksmen
