Private Client Solicitor
Location: Peterborough or Nottingham

A well-established and award-winning law firm with a strong UK and international presence is looking to recruit a Private Client Solicitor into its growing team. The firm is known for delivering high-quality, client-focused legal services and offers a supportive and collaborative working environment where individuals are encouraged to develop and progress.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing Private Client team, working within a specialist sub-team focusing on high-quality work for mass affluent clients.
You will handle a varied caseload with a strong focus on inheritance tax planning, estate planning and estate administration, while also playing a part in the continued growth of the team.
Some travel and occasional out-of-hours work will be required for business development, meetings and training.
Key Responsibilities
Managing a varied private client caseload including IHT planning, Wills, LPAs, estate administration and lifetime trusts
Delivering a high-quality and efficient service to clients
Building and maintaining strong client relationships
Working to agreed targets and deadlines with minimal supervision
Supporting the wider team and contributing to its ongoing growth
Ensuring compliance with internal systems and quality procedures
Proactively contributing to business development activities
About You
Qualified Solicitor with circa 3–5 years PQE
Strong experience in private client work, particularly IHT and estate planning
Ability to manage a varied caseload independently
Excellent communication and client care skills
Commercially aware with a proactive approach
Experience supporting business development
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
A team player with a hands-on and motivated approach
