About Us
The Orthotic Works has been helping people improve their mobility and wellbeing in the UK since 2003. We use digital gait analysis and proprietary technology to create custom-made orthotics that realign the biomechanics of the body. Based in York, we also attend major events and shows across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
* Answer incoming calls and handle customer enquiries
* Manage appointment bookings and maintain calendars
* Provide clear information about our services, products, and guarantees
* Assist customers with adjustments, additional orders, and aftercare
Order Processing & Support
* Help process and track customer orders through our system
* Assist the technical team with preparing and laying out orders for production
* Pack and ship completed orders to customers
Administration & Events
* Handle email correspondence with customers and event organisers
* Manage event-related documentation and communications
* Support the smooth running of our event participation
Skills & Experience
* Strong communication skills, both on the phone and by email
* Highly organised with good attention to detail
* Confident using computers and learning new systems (Training provided)
* A friendly, professional, and customer-focused approach
* Previous administrative or customer service experience is desirable
Pay & Benefits
* £12.50–£13.50 per hour, depending on experience

Working Pattern
* Part-time: 3 days per week. Tuesday - Thursday (10:00 – 16:00)
* Flexibility may occasionally be required around events
