1:1 Tutor Needed – Year 4 Pupil in Weymouth Teaching Personnel are looking for a dedicated and creative tutor to support a Year 4 pupil in Weymouth, who is currently awaiting a school placement following the approval of an EHCP. Tuition will take place during the school day, within the pupil’s home environment. This is a role where you can truly make a difference. It’s not only about teaching but about building trust, inspiring curiosity, and helping a child grow in confidence. The pupil has ASC and Speech & Language needs and is currently working below age-related expectations, so familiarity with the KS1 curriculum will be particularly valuable. Learning will follow an interest-led, activity-based approach, with a strong focus on making literacy and numeracy both fun and accessible. We’re looking for someone who can bring lessons to life with creativity, patience, and personalised strategies. As part of this role, you will also play a key part in supporting the pupil’s smooth re-integration into school once a placement has been secured.
