WR Security Services is looking for Door Supervisors to start in Southampton.
Overview
As a Door Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of our premises. You will be responsible for overseeing the entry and exit of guests, ensuring compliance with licensing laws, and providing a welcoming environment while effectively managing any potential risks. Your vigilance and professionalism will contribute significantly to the overall experience of our patrons.
Duties
* Monitor and control access to the venue, ensuring that only authorised individuals enter.
* Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter and detect any suspicious activity or breaches of security.
* Utilise CCTV systems to monitor live feeds and review footage as necessary for incident investigation.
* Implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and damage to property.
* Respond promptly to incidents, providing first aid when required and liaising with emergency services as necessary.
* Maintain accurate records of incidents, attendance, and any actions taken during your shift.
* Collaborate with management to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and licensing laws.
Skills
* Strong surveillance skills with the ability to remain alert and observant at all times.
* Experience in loss prevention techniques is advantageous.
* Proficiency in operating CCTV equipment and understanding its importance in security management.
* First aid certification is essential; additional training in conflict resolution would be beneficial.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective interaction with team members and guests.
* A professional demeanour with a focus on customer service while maintaining authority when necessary. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently as well as part of a team, ensuring a safe environment for all patrons while upholding the highest standards of professionalism.
