Responsibilities
* Perform venepuncture on adults in a friendly, efficient and professional manner in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
* Provide training, support and leadership to phlebotomists in a professional manner, acting as a role model under the guidance of the senior lead phlebotomist.
* Prioritise workload effectively to provide continuous service across the Trust.
Requirements
Experience in phlebotomy, dynamic and flexible. Strong communication and IT skills. Ability to stand for long periods and walk significant distances.
Work Hours & Location
Base location: Royal Bournemouth Hospital with cross-site working. Weekday shifts 06:30-16:30, weekend shifts 07:00-12:00, working Monday to Sunday including bank holidays. Flexibility in shift working required.
