About the Role
Successful candidates will work in a primary school in Yeovil as a Cover Supervisor. In this role, you will:
* Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers
* Deliver pre-set lesson materials (no planning or marking required)
* Ensure students remain engaged and on task
* Maintain a positive and productive learning environment
This position offers valuable insight into the teaching profession while allowing you to build confidence in a classroom setting.

Programme Experience
During your placement, you will:
* Keep a reflective journal of your experiences
* Observe lessons across various subjects
* Learn effective teaching strategies, behaviour management, and differentiation
* Support pastoral care and student development
* Gain insight into school policies and procedures
* Develop subject-specific teaching knowledge
* Assist students with coursework and exam preparation

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
