Support Worker
Pay rate: £14.50 per hour
Shift Pattern: 8am - 8pm - 3 x 12 hour shifts per week (36 hours per week)
The gentleman loves outdoor hobbies such as mountain biking and surfing.He likes motorcycles and feats of engineering, having similar interests would be bonus as he'd love you to get involved.To make the most of your days together you need to be local to Fowey and know what exciting things you can do together in the local area. We've got a rewarding opportunity for the right person to work with this individual living in their family home in Fowey.This person has Autism and Paranoid Schizophrenia. There is a history of challenges and risks associated with these conditions, but this does not define them.
Enriching activities will be an important factor in your support, and you will bring a wonderfully empathetic approach to truly make a difference to this persons life. You will also need to bring previous experience with you in the following:
* Autism
* Paranoid Schizophrenia
* Behaviours that can be perceived as challenging
